This existing, but inadequate clinic is on the edge of a small town located in the Kham region of Tibet. This is one of the areas in Eastern Tibet where the Tibetans still outnumber the Chinese. The community is in need of a larger facility in which to perform basic medical procedures and distribute medicine as there are no clinics or hospitals within reasonable proximity for the nomads in this region. From your donations a fund will also be established with which to purchase both traditional Tibetan and western medicine.
The cost to sufficiently expand this clinic is $100,000.
